Curriculum Content
Learning at Rodney House is nearly always cross curricular. This means different subjects and skills are worked on within a single lesson.
Group learning sessions take place throughout the day indoors and outside. The length, content and structure of a learning session is planned carefully by the class team to reflect the needs of the group.
1:1 and small group work are also parts of the school day. This might include supported play, intensive interaction or a physical break, depending on the learner.
Sensory diets and time to regulate outside are all key aspects of the day and vital to meaningful engagement in the curriculum.
Timetables are available to view on each class page. These will tell you which learning sessions are delivered in each class.
